  He watched as River considered his words and then nodded. “Okay, then what are we going to do?”

  Damion grinned. “Well, provided we survive this blizzard, we’re going to have a nice long talk with Mr. Layngston. We have to make sure he understands that he does not have to go through this disease alone. Even if it’s untreatable. And then after that… bed.”

  “Are you tired, Damion?”

  Damion grinned. “Oh no. I was thinking we should try having sex in a bed. It’s so much better than the couch in the employee lounge of the library.”

  River laughed. “I do believe that is a perfect idea.”

  “As do I.”

  CHAPTER NINE

  It was only one more day before they were rescued, thanks to River’s friend Michelle calling around to let everyone she could possibly get in touch with know about them being trapped in the library. By that point they’d had sex in front of the Classic Literature section, the Religious Literature section, and the Biology section. Layne thought one couldn’t go wrong having ménage, gay sex in front of William Shakespeare’s works as well as books written by religious zealots who said it was wrong before ending in front of books that talked all about the human body.

  Damion had told him he was sick. River had called him a genius.

  But they had both gone along with it. He wondered what that made them.

  They were now standing in Layne’s living room staring at each other. The entire city had been buried in white and were it not for the snow plows, they wouldn’t have been able to get home. The house was freezing, still needing time to warm up and Layne was extremely nervous, though he wasn’t sure why.

  “Ugh! Why do I feel like a high schooler picking up his date for the prom?” River asked.

  Damion snorted and Layne chuckled. “I was just thinking the same thing.”

  “You were not,” Damion said.

  Layne shrugged. “Almost.”

  River started pulling off his clothes and Damion looked over at Layne before doing the same. Layne hesitated for only a second before joining them.

  “Okay, we’re going to play a game. I have to work on my marketing research paper and you guys are going to help me, so grab that marketing book and for every question I get right, you guys have to suck my cock for five minutes and for every one I get wrong I have to suck yours for five minutes. Deal?”

  Damion looked over at Layne and grinned. “Deal.” Layne nodded.

  Layne followed Damion and River to the bedroom, his gaze trained on their naked asses, his hardened erection leading the way. He knew everything wasn’t perfect, there was still a lot to work out with him and Damion—and now River—and he still had that fucking brain cancer he had to deal with, but it could all work out, for now he had two men waiting in the bedroom for him, and an entire blizzard to enjoy them through.
